I second that, The Darkness is one of my favorite games because of it's amazing campaign, a must buy if you ask me, however, the online is major crap and you should avoid it no matter what.
I've played the online multiplayer a bit and it really isnt that good. Its kinda liek quake in the sense that you run around find kevlar and different guns levitating 2 feet above the ground. It is almost impossible to connect to other players online. Unless your the host then you will probably run about 5 - 20 frames per second. The game has terrible lag and its just awful to attept to play.
Dont buy this game for the multiplayer because all the effort clearly went into the campaign and it shows cuz the its probably one of the best campaigns in a long time. For an FPS that is.
yeah i thought the single player was very good, the darkness powers were cool, great story, very different. but yea like everyone else has said the multiplayer is complete trash, but still worth buying for the single player, and you can find this game used for like 25 bucks at eb games or gamestop which is makes it more worth it.

I found the game to be lame, I know alot of people like the whole powers thing but they just seemed really stupid to me. The powers thing just killed the game for me, but I know I am probably in the minority on that one. I play almost all of the shooters and this one just didn't do it for me at all.
