well I have 2 grand, what should I buy?

I already have a 360 with a 24 inch samsung HDTV LCD. I was thinking of 3 different things. First, I was thinking about buying a 50 inch hdtv lcd to enhance my xbox experance. Or I was consdering of buying a 35-40 inch hdtv lcd with a playstation 3 to upgrade the game experance on the counsles along with a sigificant increase in the size of my tv. My finally option would be to buy a super gaming computer and start gaming there and play games like battle field 2, and so on. What do  you guys think?

get the 50 inch

out of those choices I'd say the 50 inch. I don't know much about HD, I play my 360 on my comp monitor, but if you're going to drop that much coin you better do some batman type research and make sure your getting the best of what's out there. Maybe even get a 40 inch if the 50 inch tops out at 720 instead of 1280.

I also hear nothing but good stuff about Laser TV's, the're not out yet but should show up this year.

well i was thinking of putting it into my bedroom and hanging it on the wall , which is a prettty small bedroom. Or my wife wants me to put it in the living room. I don't now, so many tough decsions

take all that money and reserve every amazing game comin to the 360 this year, theres a lot of em so im not sure if 2000 will cover it.

I got a better idea, dont buy another HDTV, its kinda a waste of money + size isnt really all that important. Build yourself a gaming PC and get a PS3. That should cost around $600-$800 for your PC and $600 for the PC, also then you still have money left over for games. Thats what I would do.bri360

i have a whole set of different methods for buying my games, its called sucking up to the old lady. So This money is for upgrading my gaming experance. But if i only had this amount of money to spend for games then it might not be a bad idea

Get a mid-high end pc then buy a wii. You'll have the ULTIMATE gaming experience with 360, PC and a Wii. If I were you i'd do that.Aljosa23

2000 grand = 2 million dollars, so I'd say go for the 500".

The gaming computer or a 1600 dollar TV and a Wii + games would be good.

It's not too difficult, you will easily find guides on what to look for and how to put all the components together on the internet. Whatever you do, DON'T go to Alienware because they add 50% extra to the price just for the brand. Try to avoid any kind of pre-packaged system, even though the advertising might sound tempting they will rip you off royally.

Buy the games that you want and pre-order lots of games that are coming out. Then buy an awesome rig. Here are the specs that you should have:

2 GB of RAM

200 GB HD

HD monitor

thanks panda, you hit it right on the money, i have 20 thousand saved up and have 2 grand for games and a tv.

my 40inch LCD HDTV was like 2500$ I don't know where your going to find a 50inch one with good quality for that cheap but goodluckiasfdglai

^^ I was thinking that too. But I say get the gaming PC. PS3 blows and if you have a HDTV just keep it. No point in getting something you already have.
