Ok so WET looked awesome, I love thriller games which keep you in the edge of your seat, and I was really hoping this game would absolutely fill my hunger for action, WRONG! I just beat it on my friends 360 and it is awful, I mean the game play sucks, the storyline is alright, and all the mission are just so tedious, anyway, I was totally sold by advertisement, sorry about the rant, and I would love to hear some opinions about this game, it may be like prototype I thought it sucked, but a lot of people were getting WET for it ha! :) anyways let me know what you think.
I have to admit, I was looking forward to this game. Then I downloaded the demo on Xbox live, and saw it for the festering garbage pile that it was. Always play the demo if you can my friend.

I didn't, I was playing for my friend to buy it he said he was, so i thought well if i only play a little and love it ill just buy it. but we ended up beating the whole thing.
i played the demo and thought "wow they remade stranglehold starring a chick with a samurai sword." and after about 5 minutes of crappyness i gave up.Brak_N_Zorak

Right, did you know it was gonna suck? if you did I want your psychic powers. Obviously I did. It doesn't take psychic powers, just common sense. Exhausted gameplay + lame ideas = bad game. Easy enough?

Just play Stranglehold. I played the WET demo and it felt like Stranglehold but a lot less fun. Stranglehold is short, but cheap and extremely fun while it lasts.

Agreed. But rent it, because it does get old after a while.

Most people thought it sucked, I quite liked it.
Also, "lame ideas", they already spoke about the game.. That's how he'd know it was gonna have lame ideas.
See most people tend to play a demo and do a little research on a game before going out and spending about 40-60 bucks on it. On the bright side.. Your friend made a random purchase without considering ANYTHING at all.. But hey. Atleast you can take the game back. Wouldn't be that lucky if you'd gotten a tattoo.
I played the demo, and while it was kind of fun, it looked like the slow-mo would get really old really fast. Just from that I could tell it wouldn't be worth more than a rental, and even then it would be in the back of the line.
I don't think I have even seen a commercialir a trailer for Wet. As far as falling for the advertisement, I can't fully fault that because there is one game that the commercial for it made me want it even more. And that was the Dead Space "Twinkle Twinkle" commercial. But then I was already thinking about getting it and managed to get it for $30 last Black Friday.

Gameplay is like the demo. There is a wider selection of guns, and harder enemies which the sword can not kill w/ one hit. Also very shallow rpg elements. IMO is a great game. obviously not near the detail in graphics, physics, sound, etc... but it was a very fun game.
in all fairness I new it wasnt going to be an "amazing" action game and I certainly wouldnt dish out full price for it, but when itdrops in price to around 30 bucks i'll be getting it. EVen though it was really easy, the ending sucked, and there were plot holes all thoughout I have play much worse. ANd I loved the whole B-movie style but thats because I'm a sucker for B-movies. Tarintino and Rodriguez are some of my favorite recent directors that have been able to pull off some good ones. In all honesty as much as I enjoyed and disliked about the game it was alright but I think it would have a made a hell of a movie over a game.
