if you've watched the video on this then it looks like they are trying to figure out a possible solution to this, i don't remember them sayin nething about it in the major nelson webcast, just in the actual video of it

The issue I have with the announcement is the price of the 200GB HD. The tag of $180 is ludicrous for an HD that size.

I'll point something out some of you won't like and I'll add this disclaimer - I am Sony biased, but I enjoy good games regardless of what system they are on. This is why I own all three current systems.

There is little reason other than a great attachment to the current 360 titles or XBL for anyone that does not already have a 360 to purchase the Elite over a 60GB PS3. For an additional $120 you lose the 60GB of space, add wireless, add digital media ports, have the ability to swap in any brand HD, gain BluRay, gain motion sensitive controls, and gain a free online network.

I still think the 360 is a great system but I feel the original Premium is a better purchase by comparison.

I think hes being sarcastic I mean who gets that mad that it will come out in a new color and have a bigger hard drive its not like you need a hard drive that big and yes I like the black but for 10 bucks you can airbrush you 360 black and it will look cooler.

PS2 had several different versions and the major upgrade was PS2 slim. GameCube had 2 major versions (one that could play dvd's and 1 that couldn't). I don't know if xbox had several versions. If you thought that core and premium will be the only x360 units on the market for the whole lifespan you where just a blind fanboy.

Haha I think the real problem here is that its priced so similarly to the ps3.  I have not purchased a current gen console yet but I was considering the 360 seeing as how its so much cheaper than the ps3.  But wait.  The "elite" system is basically the same price as a ps3.  With no HD player built in.  So why would I get a 360 now lol.  ps3 here I come!draak3000
