HI,

Im thinking of getting a 360 and if I do I'll have to sell my wii and stuff and I'll get about $300. I have $60.

So what would i need if I got the Arcade.

I think I'll need a controller($30), 20 gb hardrive($60 if I buy Used), Wireless Adaptor($100), and a game(probably Banjo for $40)

That adds up to $430 and my parents will probably pay $70 so I have enough.

Is that all I need or do i need something else(I'll get live next year).

THanx

Controllers aren't $30... except maybe used, and I've never seen one for that price. Do you want a wired or wireless controller? Consider that when you buy your system... and don't forget that the Premium and Elite models come with component cables that let you utilize an HDTV out of the box. I'll just say this though... I'll never in a million years understand why people sell systems when new games are coming out for them.

1. Wireless adapter- There a ones that are about $30-$50 2. You can get a 20GB hard drive on Ebay for about $40 3. A controller(wired or wireless) will be about $25-$40 But if you're getting Live next year, there's really no need for the wireless adapter

Your prices aren't right. The hard drive you can get for cheaper. Also I saw an offer somewhere that they were selling the Arcade console and a refurbished HDD for the same 200 bucks, so maybe look in to that. As far as accessories go, get the play n charge kit, it brings rechargeable batteries and the USB cable to charge your controllers either from the 360's USB ports, or any computer.

Those new games might not be of interest to the owner of that console. They might not use it anymore. They want another system that they think they'll get more use out of. There are plenty of reasons why someone would sell a console.

I suggest you buy the quick charge kit, not the play and charge. You'll thank me later :P.

If you plan to have wireless controllers, get the play and charge kit. That's probably my most useful accessory. The wireless adaptor is expensive for what it is, and totally unnecessary.

Main things to have are a hardrive and a controller. If you want a wireless controller you'll probably want to get a play and charge kit or a quick charge kit.

If you plan on getting on Live you might want to look into a wireless adapter depending on how you want to connect. It's cheaper to just use an ethernet cable that comes with the console but it might not be conveniant for you.

Don't bump old threads. Make your own if it's not covered by the stickies.
