Not counting the games that involve just beating the game (unless it has a twist to it "beat it under some hours") or by pressing Start or watching a cut scene. I'm talking about the ones where you put good amount of game time just to get that one achievement for what its worth.

I'd probably say Marathon Man in Halo 3 for 40 Gamerpoints. It probbably takes about an hour or two to complete for an easy 40 points.

I think beating Halo on Veteran, 125 points, while it was formidible it wasnt nearly as hard or frustrating as Little Rocket Man in Half Life 2 Ep. 2. THAT would have been worth 100 points. It completely ruins the experience of playing the game and pisses you off to high heaven.

Getting all songs rated 5* on Guitar Hero for whatever is the highest difficulty you can manage. Some songs are straight forward and I can get first attempt, but others I do over and over trying to improve my scores.

Orb Hunter and Free Runner (50 GS each) in Crackdown for collecting all of the orbs - 500 agility orbs and 300 hidden ors

thats true. i guess beating it on veteran has its "twist." but that was easily achieved i feel through doing coop so i didn't feel like i struggled or went out of my way to do it.

Every gears of war achievement, like 100 kills and stuff.

Another game is like FEAR i've said this on the other thread.
So is COD4 on Veteran and which achievement is really worth its worth is Mile High Club, which I got but the most bull thing happened

Hmm...well I havent gotten any of the really tough achievements in games yet...but probably the following:

1) 4* Agility ranking in Crackdown

2) One Free Bullet in Half Life 2 Episode 1

like I said, I havent gotten many difficult achievements yet

The longest i will spent (on what i like to call side achievements... not one related to the main function of the game... like getting flags in AC or Marathon Man in Halo) is ruffly an hour so i won't count any of those.

So i would probably say beating CoD2 on Veteran (i only need like 2 more missions to beat on CoD4 to get it done).

My second place one is probably a tie in a way... I would say Viva Pinata because i got the achievement for getting a really valuable Pinata (over 10k chocolate coin value or something) by getting a full grown Dragonache (may be misspelt) which took awhile. The other would be Kame, but not for a single achievemtn, but because i got 900 points in that game. Most of the people i see who have played it either have 600 or less (If you beat the game i think you get 600 from all the achievements). I had to do the time trials on the missions to get more (i need one more da** fruit for one achievement and I just cant beat one of the time trials... i've tried... i've used guides, but i CAN NOT do it...)

In Hitman: Blood Money.

5 Professional Silent Assassins - 5 Silent Assassin ratings awarded on the Professional difficulty.

47 kills - A mission has been completed with precisely 47 kills. (i had to be very careful with this one, hehe)
