What are Halo skulls????????

I just bought an Xbox 360 not to long ago so im new to Halo. Could someone tell me what are Hal skulls and how do you get them???????????????????/////:lol:

They are skulls (like the oddball in multiplayer) that are hidden in the single player levels. They only appear on difficulties above easy and you get them by just picking them up.

There are a lot of guides on where to find them.

They are hidden skulls in the game, each (when activated) having different effects on gameplay. Some make the game more difficult, others are there for more fun.
