What are your thoughts on fatal inertia

after putting some time into the demo and getting used to it, i'm having a lot of fun. i think i'm gonna really enjoy playing this on xbl. unfortunatly, this game plays terribly with the wheel (even if you could adjust the controls), and all 3 levels are really short. I wonder why it signs my out of xbl whenever i start up the demo? what are your thoughts on this game after playing the demo? ii have high hopes.

The demo was decent because my friend and i were looking for something quick to play together to pass the time, but i dont think it is $60 worth. I noticed there were only four powerups, and it seemed like two of them didnt do anything. To be honest, it seemed more like something that you would find on XBLA, as it didnt seem to have much more depth than something like Diddy Kong Racing (which was a really good game when it came out).

Yeah you're right about the dephth thing, hopefully there's more depth in the retail version. I've only found 3 powerups. The hommingmissle/boost, the frag/boost,, and I can't figure out what the pink one does.

I loved the demo and will probably get it. Xbox live play is awesome. There area bunchof powerups, just off the top of my head:

Rocket+Speed Boost
Missle+Attach to car boost
Dual magnet fire/dropbedind
Huge magnet thing fire/drop behind

Thing that makes other players screen loose color and throw them offcource.

There will probably be more in the full version too.

That is better than i expected, so it may be a little better than Diddy Kong Racing, but is it really worty of the Next-Gen price?
