Because even though I can't think of another one, I don't like giving it number 1 by default. This may be a very harsh comparison but if you had to give an award for the best smelling object and your only choices were vomit and diarrhea would you really say either was deserving?ALLoY1717

Pretty sure those are the only Xbox 360 exclusives I have played that came out this year. I'm planning on trying Infinite Undiscovery and The Last Remnant soon which would both go above Too Human but w/e.

Gears of War 2, Halo 3 and Fable 2 are the only good exclusives I've played this year. the rest were sorta "meh"orb_03_2006

So few? I've played a lot of exclusives. I'll forgive you, though, because it doesn't sound like you own a 360. :)

Nope. I own Wii, PS3, 360, and PC -- I've enjoyed about the same amount of exclusives across all the platforms.

Top 5 from this year alone...Fable 2, Gears Of War 2, Ninja Gaiden 2, Lost Odyssey, Castle Crashers

Also a few of my favorite exclusives from last year. Halo 3, Mass Effect, Bioshock.

For me... Lost Odyssey and Naruto: Broken Bond.

Naruto will probably catch some hate but I like the anime and I like online fighting games. I played the prior game for like 200+ hours online and i've probably played the new one for like 40+ in like 3 weeks.

I haven't played these games, but based off reviews they seem to be pretty good: Tales of Vesperia (I will buy when its $40), Gears 2 & Fable 2 (I think i'll buy it eventually), Banjo 3

Does it worry any of you that most of us can't think of 5 exclusive titles in a year that we would put in a top 5 list? And on top of that does it worry you that the ones we can think of are sequels in existing franchises?

Seriously it is stuff like this that will kill gaming for people.

Gamers are doing it to themselves. There's been plenty off new stuff out there, like Nuts & Bolts, Lost Odyssey, etc, but most gamers ignore them and go straight for Gears 2. These are the same people that ran out at midnight to buy Halo 2, yet let Psychonauts sit on store shelves. It's not the devs and pubs fault, it's the gamers fault.

Incorrect. Nuts & Bolts IS new, and it is in no way a continuation of the Banjo-Kazooie franchise from the N64. It's a brand new kind of game with a brand new name, just because it has the same 2 characters attached to it doesn't make it the same game. It's not called Banjo-Threeie for a reason.

And that's all subjective. Most people who have played Lost Odyssey think it's amazing, and that the game stands out very well, but once again, the gamers are attracted only to the hype that surrounds shooters these days.

As I said, there's a lot out there, but it's the gamers fault for only going with the super duper hyped shoot 'em up games, not the devs or the pubs.

It is surprising to see how many responses did not include Fallout 3. Another surprise was to see Lost Odyssey in so many choices and this was one great game that did not get its just reward. Outstanding for me were Gears 2, Fable 2, NHL 09 and the ever popular Lost Odyssey.FlashCharge

Fallout 3 isn't exclusive.

It's unbelievable how many users have listed games of last year and even non-exclusive games... nonetheless, here are mine (being confident PC DOESN'T count):

3) Braid

And also, Nuts & Bolts is a new IP with the same characters. Nuts & Bolts is a new property within the franchise, and anyone who played Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie would not try to ever compare those to Nuts & Bolts.

Nope, it's not continuing the series from the N64, and that's why it's not called Banjo-Threeie, and it's not a traditional platformer. Simple, really.
