Awesome selection of games,especially shooter based,Excellent hardware,XBOXLIVE,& awesome accesories..overall the machine is brilliant & I love everything about it.
just wanted to try something new i guess but it was a risk worth takin. I love the system now and the games look great not to mention alot of new rpg's and playstation exclusive games are coming over so for me i was a win win situation.
Im thinking about getting one by selling my wii and i would like to know what the pros and cons are for it.Inmate568
It's an awesome console, I'm no fanboi or anything like that but I can honestly say I'm happy with my 360. The games are plentiful, Xbox Live is wonderful, and I really dig Live Arcade Games.Â
wii.....too last gen and inacurate of how the remote handles (played wii sports and doesnt swing properly and everything!)
ps3....too expensive and very little games i like.
 xbox 360.... so many f***ing games with excellent graphics and controls. arcade is great, personal music as game soundtracks, xbox live is sick (sept for teh fact aussie broadband sucks) all games that come out are basically going to this machine. i studied each console before it came out and knew this would be the one for me.
Well everyone seems to neglet reality and "forgot" to put in the cons then I'll do it.
Cons - Good chance that your system will cr*p out on you - CURRENTLY you'll need Xbox Live Gold Membership inorder to TRULY enjoy your 360 experience - Microsoft will try to milk you out of all your monay
Pro's - Pretty much everything posted on this topic - Microsoft is finnaly realizing that gamers play games other than FPS/3PS - IPTV support soon (Winter 07') - Stream music/pictures/videos from Pc to 360 - You get to make new friends on XBox Live (I know I have) and truly "connect" - Download demo's you want without buying a magazine - Rent HD Movies for only $5 dollars (U.S.) and buy episodes of your fav show (old stuff like Pac Man or Punk'd) - List goes on and on and on and one....
My PC is my main gaming system but I got a 360 because not only does it have some good exclusives but the ammount of connectivity between it and a PC is unlike any console to date. The ability to stream music from PC to the 360 and things like that it the most flexible next gen console in my opinion.
I snatched one off ebay with a good deal..its on its way...I like it for its great games,great shooter collection...games that you need a $1500 pc to run well on,I like XBL too...especially now that I know I can go on for cheaper.i like HD grahics that I can get on my LCD tv without HDMI..I like that its way cheaper than the PS3. I just hope that its not as flimsy and prone to breakdown as everyone saids.
