Bioshock is lookin mighty fine right now it's gotten like 5 10's and the lowest is a 94%. I guess stranglehold and stuntman would be the 2 other games i would play/rent in august.
Well if you want replay value then maybe two worlds because its an RPG which is said to have a world bigger than Oblivions so there maybe some replay value in making a character with different stats and exploring the world.
guess your going to have to wait for the games to come out to check for replay value.
For replayability, I'd have to say Bioshock. At least two endings, and close to 70 different Plasmids and Gene Tonics, and customizable weapons, sounds like quite a bit of gaming to me. If you just have to have non-stop action, then Stranglehold would be my pick, but as fun as it looks, Bioshock seems like a must play.
Bioshock is brilliant, Stranglehold is a rent, Two worlds is a weak version of Oblivion and Blue Dragon is boring. No wonder Bioshock has 26 more votes than the second place;)
Well Two Worlds and Blue Dragon don't really appeal to me. I played both the Bioshock and Stranglehold Demos and I thought both were fantastic.
If I had to buy one of the other though, I'd probably go with Bioshock because the setting and theme is both exciting and original, whereas Stranglehold isn't really that different from some shooters in the past.
Two Worlds already failed in Europe, Stranglehold is a Max Paine/Dead to Rights copy with bed controls, and Blue Dragon is nothing new from any other Japanese RPG. Bioshock is original and downright fun. I would suggest playing the demos for Blue Dragon, Stranglehold, and Bioshock and decide what type of game you like best, but I would suggest Bioshock.
I was not even remotely interested in Bioshock, that is... until I downloaded the demo and played it. It was a good decision on my part, the introduction alone was enough to make me want to buy it. I simply loved the narrative part about the sweat of man's labour belonging to the poor, to god, or to everyone... except in Rapture, where it belongs to you alone. The cold war timeline elements are also very good.
BioShock to me looks like the most impressive 360 title I have ever seen since COD2. I played the demo and it just absolutely blew me away. Stranglehold looks like a decent game, but if I by it, I really don't see myself playingthe single player mode asecond time. The Multiplayer looks pretty good in Stranglehold. I think BioShock will have more replay value based on what I've experienced with the demo and knowing that there are multiple endings.
K. Well I think i know what I'm getting now, and what should be my second game if I get to buy a second that is. And Sep. I'm getting Unreal Tournament 3 and Halo 3 and Nov. I'm getting Mass Effect and Assassins Creed
i just preordered Bioshock yesterday. It's only single player, but the praising reviews swayed me into buying it. My second choice would be Stranglehold. The demo was awesome! And it has multiplayer. But using those same tricks the whole game could potentially get old. I'm gonna wait for the reviews on that one.
