I think its going to be a big success with all those new rappers. I think they will only have 15 characters tho. Hope you can create a fighter. I don't think online been confirmed but theres a good chance it will be.
im sure it will have online play. i didnt like it that much and it felt to slow. nothing like the past to games which i liked very much. the hole cratching the music doesnt appeal to me at all seems more like a music game than a fighting game to me.  Â
I downloaded the demo a little while ago and I just tried it out. I must say that this game is a little unusual, but that's becasue I have never played a game like this before. Heck, I just mashed buttons and all my dude did was throw punches. And I also heard that you have to fight to the beat and mix of the song. Anyone knows how you do that?

Seriously, I just didn't know what the **** the controls were. I even looked at the layout and still didn't know what to do. I just mashed buttons until I lost. It had nice graphics though.
The presentation is top notch as it is in all of EAs games nowadays, and the way that the background reacts to the music track is one of the coolest things I've seen in a video game. The gameplay however is a total let down, its way too slow and if you remove the sweet graphics and audio you're left with a dull game that takes very little skill to play and that would probably be a lot more fun to watch with the volume all the way up than it is to play it.
as a demo i think it sucked .. but the game has potential.. just found out that you can make complete custom soundtracks that work with the game mechanics so you can beat down Sean Paul to some real reggae like eeka mouse or Barington Levy...... that would be dope ... i hope that your custom song works on live too it'll be funny to see what some people throw on there to psyche people out... like country or something outa sesame street... if they do do live play they should allow people to watch or even be the DJ... i do have an issue with the pace of the fights and i would've liked to see real streetfighting type sh!t like smashing bottles on skulls or picking up random sh!t and throwing it at each other
Seemed a little slow to me and I didnt handle the controls all that well, but the guy who is lead on this game makes great games like Fight Night so it should turn out really good.
Real bad. This isn't Def Jam, where are the crazy moves? The backrounds are stupid and the gameplay is way too slow. One of the worst 360 games I have played yet.
I was looking forward too this game, but not anymore. I mean, the guy you can play as in the demo, almost can't kick, only throw some ugly punches ! I mean, that's really lame ! I think it would be cool if the controls had been better, and they took out all the dj and the environment that reacts to the beat. That's just stupid.
Seriously it feels like EA have taken a step back in this series. Fight for New York is alot better then the Icon demo IMO. Icon felt like a button masher and the fighting was very clunky. The whole music scratching thing felt like crap and really adds nothing to the game at all.
