Depends on what your going for. Some people like killing zombies, some prefer humans. I personally would rather keep my L4D2 even though I don't play it often, for the simple fact that you can be infected and versatile game modes that are all really interesting. But if you like the fast paced, leveling systems that World at War has I'd go for that. All about your preferred way to spend time mindlessly killing things :)
If you already have MW2, then Waw isnt worth getting. Waw came and it went. Im not hating on the game , I was a second prestige in that game. But no callsigns and fewer guns and challenges, and an amazing frustrating campaign, not worth getting at this day in age. Nazi Zombies? only 4 maps, 3 of em being overpriced DLC. As for L4D2, I LOVE IT! Even if you had the first, this is worth getting (melee weapons, more campaign levels, fun multiplayer modes, more bloody :). Very very fun to play solo or with other people, and the achievements are a blast to collect. I dont know why its not 60 anymore, but 35 is a great deal. Way better than nazi zombies IMO.
Shouldnt you just save alittle more and get MW2? would probably have more people playing.

yes i do have MW2 and im liking it alot, but the campaign is so damn short i was itching for a COD formula, but i think ima give L4D2 a try since more people recommended that
what about the campaign? for lfd2, is it short? i heard someone beat it in an hour? and i heard it has like 5 diff campaigns, is it the same levels with just picking a different character to play as?
Go for l4d2, It's some what short depending on what difficulty, it's not short if you try to put it on expert, on easy you can fly through it. There's dlc. and theres 5 campaigns with 5 levels. There is versus mode where one team plays as special zombies and the other play as survivors. or scavenge, but it also has great replaybility, trust me theres alot.
World at War is a really bad game for several reasons, i won't go into details but i would go for Left 4 Dead 2 because it's more fun when you play a game with friends and since it's made especially for Co-Op you're in for a treat.
Honestly COD5 by far. I have L4d2 and it really didnt live up to the hype I was expecting...I find COD5s zombie mode to be far beyond L4D2. And COD5s multiplayer is pretty fun as well
I would prefer World at War. Since I actually did pay $35 for L4D2 on black friday. It was fun for a minute. Then the "this is the same old yadda as #1" set in.
I loved COD5. Amazing game. The story is very challenging if you play on veteran and cool overall story. The multiplayer is alot of fun as well. Lots of people still play it. L4D2 is cool but gets stale faster than COD. I say get world at war.
Both are good, but I'd go for Left 4 Dead 2. World at War is a solid game, but doesn't hold a candle to Modern Warfare 1 or 2. Nazi Zombies are cool though.
Left 4 Dead 2 if you haven't ever played the first one. If so maybe go for World at War. It's a really awesome game. L4D2 is too much like the first to recommend it to someone who has played the first one before.
