What do you think 343 should do with the Halo IP ??

So at E3 we are obviously going to get lots of info on the future of Halo. I think that Microsoft should not really milk the franchise but explore the lore deeper. I would love Halo Combat Evolved remake and Halo 4 announcement but I think that more games of different genre's should be made aswell. Maybe asquad based co-op shooter set during the Battle of New Jerusalem were you play asan ODST groupof 4 each with there ownclasses and abilities?? Maybe a Forerunner RPG trilogy ?? I didn't think that Halo Wars was milking the franchise so I think that things like this will actually work. They should dip into different genre's to get more people intrested but they should stay true to the lore while there at it. What do you guys think they should do ??

make another Halo game. If they start working onHalo 4 now. It could be a launch title for the third xbox console in 2014. That would be awesome to have Halo 4 on launch day Nov 17 2013 or November 11 2014.

I'd really like to see a TPS that deals with the actual battles.

I think they should continue the core game as a FPS. Maybe make some spin offs like Halo Wars. But the core game should not deviate from FPS.

Anywho yeah I agree with what everyone's said, Halo Wars was a really really great game, it was balanced, it was refreshing, and most importantly it was hella fun, the cinematics were mindblowing just like the halo legends dvd, they should definitely expand the story in ways that are new, I'm not sure how rpg's would work but if they can pull that off count me in. Halo is an fps and always has been, but that doesn't mean it can't go in different directions, halo wars being the prime example, the halo 1 remake sounds great but I'm not sure what or how they'll change it other than graphics, I just hope that they do a great job because disappointed fans really isn't an option for them, 343 industries will be hugely judged on their next game.

On terms of what I'd like to see, I'd like to see more Spartans like in Halo reach, I want to see a story based on the great novels where you start as a child, grow up in a training program and fight in the wars, that would be really awesome

Halo: battlefront...that would be sweet. i dont see a star wars battlefront 3 coming anytime soon so a halo version would do just fine :D

They need to improve upon everything. Story, graphics, gameplay, Halo's outdated and they need to revamp the entire series... When they do I'll be happy.

Take their time on the new Halo. Don't rush it. Don't turn Halo into a CoD.

I think Halo 4 would be the obvious choice here...but In order for 343 to step out of Bungies huge shadow they will have to push the envelope in every way possible. They need to bring multiplayer back to Halo 3 standards (the loadouts have to go) and they really need to up the graphics wow factor. Reach was a nice step forward but they need to step it up with a more realism or at least make the campaign really stand out. No matter what 343 does I am sure they will never break the mold or exceed expectations set by Bungies more meticulous fans. Only time will tell, but I wish 343 all the best. I know it will be a top notch game. Microsoft cannot afford to let its flagship game fall into sub par territory.
