GTAIV is a piece of crap, Gears of War 2 looks good but its just the same as GOW1 but the graphics wont surprise yo as much, Mirrors Edge or Starcraft 2 should take the award, or maybe Left4dead.
Those super hyped games shouldnt even get to to the nominates, Rock Band 2? cmon.

What the hell is the big deal about this Left4Dead? The graphics look horrible and the game looks repetitive. "Oh! Look! A Zombie! BOOM Shotgun! Next guy..."
Gears Of war 2 is changing many things, one of the huge changes is it is upping the graphics and enhancing the enviroment, adding colors, lighting, destructable walls, and even soft touch.
Gears 2 is also adding planted grenades, over 7 new weapons, many new characters, many new maps, a long story mode, an emotional storyline, more vehicle use, 5 new game modes, new multiplayer camera angles for watching teammates, turrets, way, way, way more locusts on screen at one time, way more types of locusts, upgraded hammerburst, toned down swearing, all new acheivements, matchmaking, party systems, no host advantage, no invincibility while chainsawing/executing, new executions for every weapon, crawl while downed, raise hand while down, they are even adding a feature where the guns change position each round leveling the playing field.
Same Game Right????!!!??? NO!!!!!!!!!!
