What do you want in NBA 2K8?

I want...

1.) stars to make a bigger difference in games.

2.) most wide open shots to go in

3.) commentators to have more feelings for like amazing dunks or airballs

4.) more realistic rim physics

5.) more dunk and layup varities

6.) players that miss a lot in one game to have a cold hand and players that make a lot of shots to have a hot hand

7.) a All Star Weekend with an All Star game, three point contest, and dunk contest

8.) the crowd to be louder

9.) young players to progress more than the older players

10.) to hear players more on the court (for example, i want to hear them scream if they do a nasty dunk or i want them to yell ''short!'' if they know they missed.)

11.) players to change their hair styles once in a while.

12.) 24/7 to be better

13.) point gaurds to stop shooting and making threes all the time

what i would want to see is:

1. ability to warm up with a player in shootaround before a game, i dont think its ever been done and would be cool

2.  better presentation, try to get the TNT rights since they already have kenny smith, kevin harland, and craig saiger in 2k7. especially change scoreboard and halftime show to make the game seem more realistic and on tv.

3. baller bands: i wanna see players wear their bands like in real life. live 06 had em, y not 2k8?

4. fix CAP: faces always look too flushed or pale. the 360 camera should be used too like rainbow six vegas so u can really put yourself or michael jordan in a game.

5. get MJ in the game of course with the 80s/90s team

6. bring back and expand the create a shoe feature, how sweet would it be to make your own J's?

7. sweatbands: they're too small on the elbows where players like Vince Carter or Kevin Garnett wear them. the only other option for a bigger band is padded  which looks wierd.  sweatbands should also be placed anywhere on the players' arms, not just 3 or 4 specific spots.

8. stadiums: the last time i checked the Target Center didn't have red but blue/black/green seats and the home bench is on the wrong side in the game. (ya im from "Sota")

9. crowd: make the people look better, they look all boxy and playstation 1sh graphics. a create-a-fan (back to the 360 camera to put yourself in the stands) or create-a-sign feature would be cool too. the crowd should also be more packed for better record teams like the Suns and empty seats should be shown if the game is a blow-out.

10. jerseys: physics is great and everything, but they look too choppy and move too much at times. some of the team's jerseys are off like the Lakers or Heat with that line near the V-neck isn't there in the game.  sometimes in 2k6 and 2k7 jerseys would go into players bodies and you can see their chest, just a glitch they need to fix.

11. all-star weekend: add the dunk contest, skills contest, 3-point contest...u name it. this would only add to the game and make the expierence better. i want to re-create the 2000 dunk contest with VC.

i just think that game developers should sit down and totally revamp the whole commentary system. i love the gameplay and everythin gin nba 2k7, except the commentary. i may just be picky, but i am yet to encounter a good commentary for a sports game. i think the voices should be more dynamic, with a possibility of more things to say. even if the just mixed a few word up, then it would be such a better experience. i know it must be hard to do commentary for evey little thing, but i think if they hire a few more people to deal with the commentary, then it would make the game that much better

also better player animations, with sounds from the players. im sick and tired of seeing that animation at the end of the game where the player walks forward, turns around and looks at the camera and they just change the person depending on who the player of the game is.

AND FIX THE FOCUS EFFECTS!!!!

The main thing they need to fix is the passing system, they have improved by allowing you to throw bounce passes, now expand on this, i want skip passes, chest passes, lob passes, and lead passes all relatively easy to control. they could take a note from EA with the targeting system so you dont have to always rely on icon passing to throw it to whom you want

i also want a revamped graphics engine: players, stadiums, crowds, commentators; the whole works. 2K7 looks good, but not great and definitely not anywhere near as good as the 360 is capable of making it look, MAKE IT LOOK AND FEEL NEXT GEN!

i would also like them to continue to improve on isomotion and the dribbling system and make it more intuitive to string moves together

they also need to fix the defense controls, they could take another cue from EA with the lockdown stick but improve upon it, you should have more control over on the ball defense and feel more rewarded when you do it well 

for the people saying make more wide open shots...no, no. i'm willing to bet you guys just aren't good at shooting because i already make the majority of my wide open shots with good shooters
