They will more than likely let the people choose because there are people who have already purchases arcade games so if they pick one in particular... it is unfair to the people who have already purchased it...
i wouldnt mind just gettin 400 points or what ever. i would get bomberman if it was 1 free game, if we get points then it would be for froza2 crap that i have not been willing to pay for yet.

that would suck.. I still have 1600 points from sept. and I dont know what to spend it on (texas hold em aint worth it when i play for free on my pc)

you know how cheap microsft is? they charge people who wants big team battle in there playlist on ace combact 6 thats sad to charge some one for a playlist update

They will probably add a game to the arcade for us all to download, that way people coulden't of already bought it, and they woulden't be giveing away free 10$(800pt) games.
If they do let us choose, Bomberman Live, Castlevania SotN, or Marathon.
If we get to choose any game that we want, then it can be abused way too easily. Each account on an Xbox could possibly get one, so if you had 6 accounts you could get 6 free games. If they found a way to only be able to have one per console though I guess that'd be good.
If I can choose then I'll probably get Metal Slug 3.
I wish it was just free MS points so I could get Rock Band songs or something i actually want instead of an arcade game. But, that would be too awesome for microsoft.
i highly doubt they will let us choose. i have a very good feeling it will be this horrible dorrtio dino dash sorta game that supposedly we voted for as the next arcade game that won
and if it was a crapy game it woulnt matter they aready make money off stupid stuff bigteam battle for ace combact, themse that take like 3 hours to make what come on 5 mins for a ideal then hour on paper then maby 2 hours on photoshop then 20 mins makeing codes then what 2 mins to upload it to xboxlive

Not sure when, and it's going to happen because Xbox live sucks at the moment. But it's for a good reason, there was a big increase in activity so they are very happy about that. But not happy enough to give 400 free points to everyone, imagin how much that would cost Microsoft, thinking that si just rediculous. They are going to make one game available for free, just like they said. It's not going to be the worst game on there, but it definatly wont be one of the great.

The devs wanted to make Geometry Wars freely available, but Microsoft prevented them from doing so. IIRC there was a pretty big stink about it made on GamaSutra (game dev blog site).

There are many games out there(too many to name) but I doubt we will be able to pick because you can make new profiles per game and what not. Anyway I also don't think they will give us points because many people would use it to buy other content and so forth. I'm keeping my hopes up that it's a great game though :)
