With all that was put into GTA4, I'd say it looks great. As far as best looking, I'd have to say COD4. Halo 3 just looks better than 2.

I have to agree with imortal, Halo 3 is too simplistic and GTA 4 is great but sometimes a bit sketchy with some loose angles. CoD4 has the overall best graphics so far for a 360 game. Gears is good too, but it was too linear, you couldnt leave the path to interact with anything.

Kameo and Gears Of War are the best graphics on the 360.

Call Of Duty 4 has the most overrated graphics ever, the grass and ground looks terrible. Only thing that looks good is teh character models.

Halo 3 has great textures and there is a lot going on with lighting and effects.. The attention to detail is great but it doesn't look realistic, so people automatically think its not as good.

For an open world, GTA IV's graphics are nothing short from amazing.

Well my point is, to say CoD4 makes those games look crappy is an ignorant statement.

It doesnt make them look crappy, I wouldnt read too much into that. It does however make Halo and GTA look a little underdeveloped. GTA is open world though, so thats their excuse, and Halo was just designed from the start to be simplistic.

oh yeah i mean you could leave the paths in COD4 as well right, there were tons of invisible walls in COD4.

anyways, out of those choices, halo3.

COD4 looks great, but everything is brown, gray or black! and GTA4, while not bad, i know it can look much better. plus i didn't think the special effects were that great. halo3 looks goo, but above everything, it runs the best, i have seen very little framerate dips in halo3.

comparing and a game making a nother game look crappy are two diffrent things, and you obviously need to get your eyes checked if you think that halo 3 and gta 4 arn't crappy compared to COD4.

Gears has good graphic if everything in the world is a grey blur, and the people are all hunched..

Imo none of those games have very impressive graphics compared to their competition (Bioshock, Gears, etc).

I those Halo 3 though. I'm not gonna lie I decided using eni-mini-minie-mo.

Halo has some nice moments (graphically).

COD4 has great character designs (quite realistic).

GTA4 looks good considering how big it is.

... Yeah, you can jump around much more and interact with the junk in the maps such as watermellons and cartons. You can reach spots that others dont know about, there was freedom of movement whereas Gears would only really let you stay grounded, therefore it felt linear. Is this making sense to you?

GTA is full of dodgy-ness (thats a perfect word to describe the graphics of that game). You can really tell halo is native 540p, despite sacrificing this for good lighting effects etc. COD4 is an artistic masterpiece.polarwrath11

Halo is 640p and CoD4 is 600p. CoD 4 looks more realistic, but artistically, it definitely goes to Halo.
