I think Borderlands will be an awesome game! Left for dead 2 as well. They'll both be great but personally, I'm looking forward to Borderlands a little more ;)

Borderlands. you have a HUGE map and LITERALLY THOUSANDS of gns to choose from!!! L4D2, on the other hand, requires you to play through the same 1 hour long 5-4 campaigns numerous times. you do the math.....

i totally agree, plus borderlands sounds cool because of the coop system of anyone being able to join you at anytime

i was simply comparing them because both are coming outaroundthe same time; was seeing what people were more interested in, i agree its 2 differnt game plays but there still coming out some what close to each other *yes i realize ones release is 10/20 and anothers 11/17 but in my eyes thats a pretty close time for game release wise.
I woul def. nedd to say Borderlands.I pre ordered already and im excited to find out what weapons pack you get.L4D 2 looks pretty cool too so ill pick that up to on release.

I'm looking forward to Borderlands more. L4D2 will be more of L4D on new maps (which really should have been made for L4D ) whereas Borderlands is a whole new game that has a lot of potential with its millions of weapon combinations

Both games will be good but Borderlands seems better imho because it's also an rpg with tons of loot to go along with the co-op. BL was pretty much game of the show at PAX and critics are already drooling over it. Also BL is pretty much the only non sequel coming out against nothing but sequels, it's devs should get some credit for doing something new.

Easily Borderlands. The story itself will be much much longer. You have four classes each with three spec trees in Borderlands, L4D2 has nothing to compare. So, you can play the story in Borderlands at least four times very differently, L4D2 is the exact same. Don't even try to make L4D2's MP better. Borderlands has drop in drop out, monsters AND loot get better, can do the entire story plus 130+ side missions together. And, Borderlands has vehicles that you can drive with your buddies, L4D2 has nothing.... NOTHING. Go watch the Borderlands videos at IGN, it will blow you away.

There are plenty of threads around for you to discuss those games so you don't need to go into unrelated threads and declare your love for them.

I know this is a thread about BL and L4D2 but wat Im saying it doesnt matter cuz we know the fall is all about CoDMW2, AC2,and ODST(even tho I dont care for ODST that much). and L4D2 looks like L4D 1 just with different maps and a few new weapons and thats it
I think Borderlands is going to be way deeper and a more rich multiplayer experience if you have friends with Xbox Live. One thing I really like about L4D is the ability to have guests play games with you, but I'm more excited for Borderlands just because of how fun and lighthearted it seems in a more savory and rich environment.
Borderlands cuz left 4 dead didnt interest me. on the other hand, if it had a dart spewing rocket launcher made of tears and broken dreams then it would be good
