The best, in general? Geeze, you could be more specific.
I've had a lot of fun with The Orange Box. A lot of the buzz has died down around it, but Half-Life 2 and Portal are still stellar. And if you're looking for cheap, Gun, a launch game for the 360, was a copius amount of fun for me.
The elder scrolls :Oblivion. Why?Bethesda's games are usually some of the most epic single player experiences, and oblivion is no exception.Gta4 is a great single player experience as well, but I mean come on!We all knew that;)

Dead Rising was an okay single player. But I hated how u had to do some objectives by a sertin time or u fail. That really pissed me off at times.
there were a lot of things about Dead Rising that pissed me off. The "high res" text, the three day time limit, the extraordinary difficulty... But it was still a fun game.

Exactly! It was a great game...but was crippled by the miniscule text(on a sdtv),and some bad design choicesGOW was second.xXTalismanXx
I disagree, GoW was, in my opinion, average at best. I don't understand the praise it gets.
