CoD4 on veteran.
All i have to say is.... the TV station. Like, seriously, WHAT THE **** WAS THAT ALL ABOUT?!?! Stupid intelligence. Went through all that and Al-Asad wasn't even in there.
It might not be an Xbox 360 native title, but Ninja Gaiden for me. I think I died at least three times before I even got past the Team Ninja logo.

You read my mind my friend!!
That game was amazingly difficult, even when set on "Normal".
It was a chore just to complete that game, but amazing visuals and moves and such were just....awesome-uh!!
Beating the first boss took me a good hour and at least 4+ instances of controller flying :?
I was also thinking Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox. I don't even want to know how many times I died playing that, but I will note this: after beating the game on normal, the first boss batted 1.000 against me on the highest level of difficulty. And it wasn't due to a lack of effor. That...still...hurts....Chemistian
I second that, Ninja Gaiden was a very difficult game, even on normal. I still remember that boss fight with Alma inside the cathedral. First time round, she killed me 21 times in a row!!!! The only reason that the controller survived that day was that i needed it to keep playing!!! My all time favorite game though, and a true test of skills.
Also, u all remember Vice City, right? There was one mission near the end, where u wanted to gather a team for the final heist. In order to get the getaway driver, u had to beat him in a race. I never got to beat him, no matter how many times i tried, i even had my friends try it just to get on with the story. Never happened......
That resulted to a very angry gamer (me) and a ps2 controller having a very violent death involving a barbell. A trully priceless moment...
There are a few other games that come in close but I've got to give it to Call of Duty 4 on Veteran... Mile High Club especially - but we conquered that level in about 5 hours....
EDIT: ofcourse it took a few hundred tries since each time was over so quick...
Call of Duty 2...That was a bi**h for me to 100% that gameandmany of the checkpoints just weren't fair lol
1 Checkpoint would be like get somewhere and then another one would be defend points A,B,C,D. I would get to C then get shot. If your going to play that game put pillows on the floor just incase you decide to whip your controller down XD.
wow soo many people are saying cod4. You all should play cod2 and you will definitly change your minds. In cod4 it takes a few shots to knock you down on veteran. You have time to quickly get back and hide. In cod2 thats not the case. You have to hide as soon as you get hit once. The grenades were worse as well.
As for those that say R6:LV on realistic, you obviously didnt use the cover very well. The AI in that game is incredibly stupid.
