I generally don't play a game TOO long. but I've played Borderlands for about 50 hours so far. but I'm sure there's a game I've played A LOT longer, just can't think of it :P
For me it has to be Oblivion according to my saved game I played that thing for 173 hours! still one of the best games I've played though. In a close second it would probably be Silent Hunter 3 on the PC that game is worrying addictive! wish my computer I have now could run it...
FFXI, but I quit that game a while ago. I put in weeks and weeks of playtime, and that's considered nothing to some people so I don't feel as bad for wasting a good portion of my life :P
Team Fortress 2 for 850 hours. I actually played it so much that the disc broke. I am going to buy a new copy during Black Friday.

Thats alot Ive played Gears 2 for 825 hours and CoD 4 for like 575 hours Do those games have a meter that track time played or do you all really keep track of it?

CoD 4 has it on the game in the score leaderboard. Gears 2 has it on the website in the web stats. The Orange Box tells you howlong youve playedforevery class type

RB2 and L4D. i got em on day one and i still play em everyonce in a while. not much lately im uber busy trying to get as many achivements on DAo as possible before i trade it in
It is probably Halo 3. I've played through the campaign more times than should be legally allowed and I have put more hours into it's online component than any other game. Probably ever... or since Halo 2, either one works. :P
But I think Oblivion might be close. I've put over 100 hours into the game, so it's like, y'know, probably the most time I have spent in one game's world.
I've been playing Saints Row 2 for quite some time now...not because of the killing but because I've been going to the plastic surgeon every 10 minutes just to get the perfect photogenic face...!!!
