The graphics in Gears of war are insane. What game comming out this year (2007) will surpass GOW graphics? My guess is alan wake, mass effect or halo 3.
i agree with you i dont care about the graphics as long as i can tell what i am doing thats good enough. i play games for the gameplay and to have fun not to look at it and say wooooooooow thats a bit realistic
from watching some brothers in arms hells highway videos, those graphics look **** awesome. Wouldnt be suprised if they are better than gow. Other games are bioshock, mass effect and project offset unless that has been canceled for 360. graphics are important to me so i hope there are games still to come out with better graphics. Oh and just wondering, if graphics arnt important to you, why would you buy a 360?

Mass Effect for sure. There is gameplay video in latest mass effect video. When that guy shoots that big flying robot and it looks spectacular. And it will be very long game around 30 hours one of the crators said.

So you think games on 360 have better gameplay? Im not saying its not important because it is, who wonts to play a game thats not fun? But do you think any of the games on 360 have gameplay thats better than anything on xbox or ps2?
Most of them, lol. There is a rapid progression in graphics - as soon as gone (e.g. Gears) is out, another one with superior graphics (e.g. Crysis) will come out a while later. AS long as they're not made by lazy developers, most games by the end of 2007 will look better than Gears. It's natural.
I think most of you are overexagerating when it comes to graphics in GEOW.Yes its the best looking game at the moment but for God sake that game was released in first year of 360 life so in next 4 years there be MANY, MANY better good looking games than Gear.

UT 2007 because it has slightly better textures and lighting.
i dunno if anyone has said it yet but does anyone remember the game Huxley thats xomeing out later. That games looks amazing. to me its smacks Gears in the face with an ugly stick
