What Game Would You Most Like To See Turned Into A Film?

this thread has probably already come up but i was just wondering personally i would still like to see halo turned into a film but maybe an animated one like Final Fantasy Spirits Within.

THere are very few games i would ever like to se as movies, becuase to be honest, very few games acctually have a story worth making into a movie.

Most shooters (geras, halo, doom, etc) stories are so bland, cliche, and one dimensional that they in no way deserve a movie. Those games are about the games, and story as a secondary, even tertiary element.

THe only game that come to mind at the moment is the silent hill series. They always have an extremely solid and layered story to go along with there game, which is most of the appeal. Granted, they already made a movie, the only problem is they got the acting, and some of the writing wrong. But they did hit the atmosphere and sets and design directly on the head.

On occasion, some of the final fantasy games show a little potential to make a great movie, but i dont think they will ever get a great movie out of that, becuase they dont translate well into film.

THinking about it though, killer7 would probably make a good movie. It would need a serious re-write, but the premise of the game would probably make for a good movie.

I would like to see Halo done in Lord of the Rings scale 3 parts as well. Then the rest that would follow would be Castlevania, Gears of War(3 parts as well), Dragon Ball Z(It would look just like the last Matrix with all the slowmotion, and rain drop explosions) . Then maybe a Metal Gear Solid, God of War, Devil May Cry, Megaman X anime though like the cut scenes. A real Dead or Alive movie please. I think that about covers all my thoughts for now
