What games are underated that maybe i would have got put off by the reviews ??

what games you were put off on by the reviews? well gee, let me just open my folder with cazzyno1's info on games that he/she didn't get b/c of reviews :roll: how would we know what games you didn't get or not b/c of reviews?
anyways, underrated games, well for 360 there aren't many. but I would say lost planet.

I totally second the lost odyssey point; I don't understand why so many reviewers gave this game such a low review when every year madden gets decent reviews and that's basically the same game with roster updates. LO may be steep in traditional JRPG mechanics but it's far from just some shallow copy like a madden or halo 3.

I couldnt agree anymore man, LO was a very special game imo
Army of two was quite underrated, it was both fun, the voice acting werent bad and overall it ain't that bad as gamespot claims out to be. Gaming experience is drastically improved when you are two at it :D
Why does it matter that games are what you insinuate as underrated? Every game is either over rated, or under rated, there is no between. The only people that should give 2 "kids in the pool" are the people who made it, you play what you like, and forget the rest of mankind. The rating is only there for you to debate whether you want to play it or not. You ever make an argument over a movie because it got under rated? Probably not!

How is cod4 overrated it got a 9 that it deserves, not like GTA4 that got a10 and deserves a 7
Under-Rated: - Lost Odyssey - Ninja Gaiden 2 - DOA, Xtreme Beach Volleyball :D - The Darkness - Fear - Dead Rising I don't much feel anything is over-rated. COD4 and Halo 3 are still very big games, and lots of people are into it. That's fine, but the band-wagon thing has to stop.
I dont know about reviews but Frontlines fuels of war was seriouly underrated and still is. it is a great multiplayer game. also Project sylpheed was a good game that didnt get much advertising.
Underrated: Frontlines: Fuel of War, Crackdown, The Bigs, Eternal Sonata, The Darkness, FEAR, Call of Duty 3 (yes, I enjoyed it very much especially MP) and Lost Planet (especially Colonies Edition).
I don't think games are overrated, though some do approach "overhyped" imo. Such games are Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 for sure.
Haven't realy played a game on the 360 I felt was underrated, however I did play some over rated games, biggest one that comes to mind is Ninja Gaiden 2, yeah let's make a game with the most horrible boss fights imaginable, and I have no problem with the difficulty the fights were just terrible, NG 1 is probably my favorite Xbox game and one of my favorite all time games, but in NG2 the bosses repeated themselves and some fights felt like a boss you already killed only this time he does more damage, and please do not mention DMC4 and say that game also had the same exact boss fights because in DMC4 when you replay as Dante, perhaps it's the same boss and same environment but your combat style is NOTHING like it was the first time and it feels like a brand new game, so yes, I do not think NG2 deserves an 8.5 they spoiled all the greatness from NG1 and to me it felt like NG2 wasn't worked on as much as NG1 was, I was really really really disappointed with that game.
skate, jsut doesnt get that much talk or hype. 7.5 for the review was so stupid wen tony hawk games got the same or higher. this game should of easily got a plus 9.
Just maybe, some people say it's a chunky vomit milkshake littered with bugs and broken quests, but with the help of a few mods and some patches, the games' good side shows through and is Aucking Fawesome.
