I originally only had enough money for Red Dead Redemption, but I sold some games I never play anymore, and I'm getting Alan Wake and UFC Undisputed 2010. It'll be a good start to summer gaming!!

Just got my 360 about a week ago so I'm gaming Left 4 Dead, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Forza Motorsport 3 and Halo 3: ODST. I do plan on purchasing Alan Wake if I can get together enoug money.
Once I found out how they screwed up Alan Wake my plan took shape
I get Skate 3 next week with ten dollars back, then the next week I get Red Dead Redemption with 20 dollars back
I take that combined 30 dollars and buy Blur the week after for half price then I take the 10 dollars back from Blur and put it towards the games next month
My plan is awesome!
How are you getting that money back Jaysonguy? I'm just curious, but how did they screw up Alan Wake?

When you buy RDR from Amazon you get 20$ back. As for Alan wake its all about opinion, i think he didn't liked certain aspect like collectible or, the fact you need to play the game twice in order to get everything.

Amazon preorders, bonus items too for stuff
Alan Wake makes you play twice no matter what to get all the manuscripts that explain the whole story, it's irked me since I heard about it lol
3D Dot Game Heroes and Red Dead Redemption. Cannot wait for RDR.x-2tha-zJust 9 more days....:)
I am for sure getting Red Dead Redemption and Alan Wake since they have both been paid off for awhile now.
I may buy Blur as I really like the online multi-player demo, but Split/Second seemed like a game with some cheap thrills(explosions) thrown in and it just didn't turn out like the way I had hoped so it is rental at best.

What exactly is it that they did?I know its something about making you do 2 playthroughs for the whole story but is that so bad if its a really good game?[QUOTE="Jaysonguy"][QUOTE="Elian2530"] It's okay Jaysonguy. You will succumb to Mr. Alan Wake, soon enough! Muwahahaha..xxxCr00k3dxxx

What exactly is it that they did?I know its something about making you do 2 playthroughs for the whole story but is that so bad if its a really good game? You got it, you have to do two playthroughs because you cannot explore 100% of the map and get all the manuscripts unless you play on the hardest difficulty and you can't play on the hardest difficulty unless you play on an easier level first and unlock the hardest level.
As for playing a game again?
Ehhh, if it's something like Mass Effect where you can change the entire scope of the game then yeah, I don't mind that.
Playing the same exact game twice? Hate it
Batman: GOTY, Read Ded, Alan Wake, ModNation. I was going to buy PoP and UFC but after the demo and vidoes, I will just rent them.

I guess thats true.Your choices really dont effect the game in anyway so why do another playthrough. It's obviously RDR Month, but im gonna pick: RDR / Alan Wake / Record of Agarest War (love srpg) / split/secondHakud0ushi
Yeah that is what I am getting this month. Even pre-ordered RDR, and will play Alan Wake first.
Game Informer gave Red Dead Redemption a 9.75 out of a 10. So I say that's a good review.Well Read Dead Redemption has my hopes high so if it gets good reviews than im getting it...if it sucks then im going to be so disapointed just like so many others
