What games are you thinking of pre-ordering this year?

I think in the end I will have Brink, L.A. Noire, (maybe) Rage, Arkham City, and Skyrim.

Skyrim and Battlefield 3. Nothing else is worth paying 60 dollars for.

i havent pre-ordered a game in years. I just dont get why people do that. I like to read user reviews before i even consider buying a game. $60 is a lot of money!

1.Final Fantasy XIII-2

2.Dungeon Siege III

and finally Elder Scrolls SKYRIM

Mass Effect 3. That's about it.

I'll be pre-ordering Battlefield 3, and if DMC 5 comes with some cool content I'll pre-order it as well because DMC has always been my favorite franchise.

i pretty much only pre order games i know i want when i can get game credit from amazon. Even at times i pre order games i don't care just to make a profit lol off the game credit

why pre order games?

I only pre order games that look promising. But reason i pre order is because retailer like to tack on $10-$20 dollar in credit (mostly amazon). The way i see it is even if i end up disliking the game most games old their vaule on ebay first -two weeks 50+ used on ebay while 2-4+ weeks holds 40+ bucks. if it's a AAA game it will hold 40+ easy for 2-3 months (unless the game to a total flop). so if you look at it it can end up cost same as a rent.

Battlefield 3 is one of them.

Hang on, $60USD is the price of a new game, yet, even though the exchange rate is the same, a new game in Australia costs $99AUD...
Rigged much? Some games like ME3, the next CoD game and Skyrim will probably cost around $120AUD.

probably just skyrim, possibly battlefield 3 but i dont know yet. theres alot of games i want but i might be joining the navy so i wont be near an xbox for a long time to justify preordering anything

I think i will be pre-ordering Skyrim in a Collector's edition form and LA NOIR...Everything else i will be buying when the prices drop...

Brink, Mass Effect 3, and maybe Rage (that depends on if they give anything away for free, because I'm sure the store won't be sold out of it), and also Uncharted 3 and Infamous 2 for my PS3.

Usually it's only my top games I will preorder, and Brink has been up there for over a year now. I'm so excited it is so close!

But then you have to wait minimum a year longer than everyone else.. I would rather pay the money for games I want. But then again I don't know what your income is like compared to mine :P

I haven't pre-ordered a game in a longtime, but if Mass Effect 3 comes out with some kinda bonus for pre-order then I'll do it.

Is there really any reason to pre-order an Xbox360 game?

The only thing I can see worth pre-ordering nowadays is maybe a Nintendo gaming system. Everything else is pretty much guaranteed to have plenty of copies available wherever.

If this thread is about games I feel are 'must-have' this year, then my sole reply would be SKYRIM.

Dead Island (back on the list - no specific date set, but a recent interview with the dev claims its due out this year)

Already Preordered and purchased Dragon Quest VI.

Going to preorder Skrim for sure.

Other than that I may just purchase any other games upon release.
