Either you are loaded or you waste a ton of money. The question is how many of those games do you still play? How many were played once?Over 100, so too many to list. Here are most of my DVD-based games (older picture):
I also own every XBLA game...

Okay, okay, here goes... I make pretty good money. I spend more money on DVDs, electronics, building PCs, going out and certain items that probably cannot be discussed here, despite how much fun they are, than I do on games.
As for games, I am a collector. Going back to my first console, Mattel's Intellivision, I have generally picked one console each generation to "stock up" on. This means I own every launch title (whether I want it or not) as a time capsule. I also generally buy every game I am vaguely interested in for my collection, while other consoles I only buy gams I really want or anything weird. I loan games to friends. My 360 collection is puny. I need to get something that will hold all 400+ Xbox games I have just so you can see how it can really get (and trying to squeeze Steel Batallion into the frame should be fun).
So yes, there are lots of games that get very little play, though there comes a time I pull an oldie off the shelf that I either skipped or am interested in playing a little more and give it a whirl. This is the joy of no responsibilities and a nice hunk of "fun" money every week.
