well there are 3 games that made me get an xbox 360 and non of em' are out yet....Fable 2, Forza 2, and Good ol' GTA.. the games i play now, graw, saints row, oblivion and test drive unlimited are nice games to keep me busy till those games come out
I wanted it for Dead or Alive 4 and Oblivion. Both are the reason why I ponied up for the system. However, Gears was my most anticipated title of all. But for purchasing purposes, Oblivion had me sold.Â
Tell you the truth, I wasn't planning on getting a 360 but Kameo really pushed my buttons. I thought it was magnificent.
Not only that but a couple games really got my attention later on. Gears of War, Frame City Killer (I hated that it was canned) and Alan Wake although it was announced for just Next-gen systems at the time =D
I was casual before i brought the 360 so i just wanted it because it came out first, i liked the Xbox, halo, good graphics. I new nothing about the online or the games coming out for it :P
I liked the first xbox and when I heard that 360 is coming I decided that I have to get it! But Halo 3, GOW, Forza2 ect. was pushing me very very strongly :)
well, three reasons I suppose: since gears of war got "best videogame ever made ever in the history of the universe" I figured I had to try it I wanted to play the new tony hawk on a next gen console and it seemed like games for the PS2 were getting to be few and far between, so I'd have to finally move up to next gen to stay current. I still have a lot of PS2 games to play though.
GRAW really never was that great at all. To contribute to the thread, I got mine in December, and got it for Oblivion + Condemned + Dead Rising. All the games after (Rainbow 6 + Gers Of War) were just great additions.
I wanted any next-gen system because of GTA4 (etc.)... I got a 360 because it had Oblivion (didn't like the PC controls... and it wasn't announced for PS3 at the time) and I also saw Fight Night Round 3 on a display in Target and just had to say, "Damn..."
