If you never played Half-life 2 (and you should've if you have a pc that can run it) than Half Life 2: The Orange Box comes out in october as well. It also coems with TF2 and Portal.
I think you should look into Halo 3, despite what you say about not liking the series. The new one is gong to be so much better than 2. And you can mute annoying people with a single button press now.
