I think they might just come out with an add-on drive, if they do come out with a bluray ver. then some are going to buy it and some are going to hate M$ for sticking their middle fingers and saying thanks for taking us where we are now take this... low blow lol.
If they do come out with the new blu ray, xbox. whats going to happen to all of us with the pervious version. **** of luck.

That's pretty much what happened when they implemented HDMI in the new consoles. But I seriously don't see them making an internal blu-ray drive for the 360. External possibly. But why bother? I'd rather have a stand-alone player and not have to deal with the 360's noise.
i do think they said it would be built in. but i guess it would only be used for movies. No way are they leaving their post BR xbox owners behind. it would be suicide.
I think all this blu ray drive talk is crazy, if anything it will most likely be an External drive and never used for games. A big reason for this is the fact that Dual Layered DVDs are big enough for games right now, it appears GTA4 will fit on a Dual layered DVD, and the biggest reason is because the next xbox will most likely come out in 2010 which is only about 2-2.5 years from now, and that xbox, lets call it the "Xbox 720", will most likely have a built in blu ray drive.
They're not gonna screw over all the existing 360 owners. If anything, it'll be external. It just wouldn't make sense any other way. So what, would the game publishers have to release two 360 versions of a game?...one blue ray and one dvd....no way in hell that'll ever happen. Anyway, doesn't affect me....got my PS3!
