What happend to Star Wars Battlefront 3?

They are all ready making one. There is a leaked gameplay video for it. It looks so much better.

Probably in a comatose atm since the dev. working on it went bankrupt. Probably heading by a new dev. atmmoose_knuckler

Yup. LucasArts is trying to a developer that could do a good job as dev.

It could be in the hands of the devs who made Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron.

When Free Radical went out of business the game development came to a halt. Apparently when they went out of business the engine and tech the game was built upon was lost. So not only is SW:BFIII circulating development hell trying to be picked up but all that gameplay in the video is gone, it will be built up from scratch. It'll be around at some point though, probably after the hype for KOTOR has died down.TheNerdyCritic

They keep making Battlefront games for the PSP, why not the consoles to. I loved the first 2 and I would be in heaven if they made a 3rd.

Last I heard the game no longer had a developer so maybe it has already or will soon be put in some team's hands, but even then your looking at a minium of 2 years to develop the game.
