The DMC game's (NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE ARTIST RUN DMC) have always just been okay, in my eyes. Same with Ninja Gaiden games. Seems like Capcom isn't too great with making those types of games. I hate the way DMC games play and feel + the camera angles.
I think it also has to do with the fact that neither of these games had online play, and with games like Halo, CoD, and Gears of War out, after thecampaignmode is beaten there's not much left to do....i hope game developers don't just start making halff ass multiplayer modes to satisfy the Xbox 360 market.DarkKnight1192
If they put in a good co-op i think everyone would start buying more singleplayer games.

good point
I've never been a fan of either. I think people just really wanted to be hyped for something.
I've never been a fan of button mashers myself. I downloaded the demos for both games, and they were exactly what I expected. Just a couple of mediocre button mashers.
DMC 4 = Huge dissapointment and worst in the series
NG2 = best in the series and one of the most underrated games this year, a masterpeice imo.

DMC4 was decent. IMO DMC2 was the worst in the series.
I also think NGII is underated. It's a fast paced game that looks beautiful, and you don't hear anything about it.
its hard to dublicate a good game 4 times :\ ciaxhieu
Somehow i misread 'dublicate' for lubricate...

Welcome to the hype machine kids. This is the new way for companies to sell video games, or at least it sure seems that way. Hype it like it's the second coming, then run and hide before the reviews and player feedback come out. It's just way things are nowadays.
Never believe the hype and wait at least a week before buying new games. You can always bet people will find things wrong and loudly voice their opinions within those first 2 weeks after release. Use the whining to your advantage.
