Has it actually happened to anyone? I was looking at all of those games that can be downloaded through xlive and started wondering what would happen if someone downloaded so many that the HD actually filled up. Could you just buy a second hard drive and switch them back and forth? Or would you actually have to get a second xbox?

or you could just delete some stuff from your HD? i have filled my 20GB HDD pretty much (still have a few hundred MBs left) but have a 120GB on the way. There is no way someone would have 120GB worth of stuff that they are using at the same time

When you fill it up, it overflows and all the data comes out the cracks in your xbox. It's a hell of a job to clean up.

My 60GB is filled up with all the games I have downloaded. I have to decide which game I'm not playing anymore that I want to delete so I have room for the next one.

if you download a DLC or game and your hard drive is full, can delete some and re download it again at no extra charge.

So we can redownload them as many times as we want? That would work then, well, at least until all the cable/DSL companies get their way and start capping internet usage and charging by the GB. They are currently fighting tooth and nail to make this happen, so I wouldn't want to depend on unlimited internet usage for the future. Would it be possible (theoretically) to keep the games on multiple hard drives?

It's already happened in Canada...They have plans that go as low as 10 gigs a month....My current plan is 60 gigs a month, and each additional gig is $2

Data transfer works if you want to move the stuff on one hard drive over to another hard drive, but my question is what if you want to keep more stuff than your hard drive will allow and there isn't a larger drive available. Can you just switch out multiple drives depending on the game you're playing? I know this is mostly theoretical at this point, but I'm still curious to know if it is possible. For the record, I am nowhere near my current hard drive capacity.

You are very wrong about that, I fill on average 60gb a year.
