actully i can either run 720P or 1080i it doesnt matter they are both native to my tv im going to switch to 720P

A TV only has one native resolution. All TV's that say they can do 720p and 1080i are native to just one of those while converting the other. Your manual should say what the native resolution is and its best to run it at that resoution.
I do 1080p via VGA into a 50" 1080p Samsung DLP TV, looking forward to the HDMI hook up with the elite, then I can do some real comparison of 1080p out of the 360 and PS3 via HDMI
