1280x768 on my dell 2007wfp and 720p on my pioneer 50" plasma.I mostly play on my dell screen as I feel looking at the big screen for too long puts me to sleep.
720P on a HD projector, on a 100 inch projection screen. sweeet. 1080i is also an option, but most games are 720P native and run bettr in progressive scan.
I've been meaning to try the component cables since some say VGA has washed out colors, but I thought I read somewhere that the spring update is going to fix the VGA color saturation issues.

actully i can either run 720P or 1080i it doesnt matter they are both native to my tv im going to switch to 720P

A TV only has one native resolution. All TV's that say they can do 720p and 1080i are native to just one of those while converting the other. Your manual should say what the native resolution is and its best to run it at that resoution.
I do 1080p via VGA into a 50" 1080p Samsung DLP TV, looking forward to the HDMI hook up with the elite, then I can do some real comparison of 1080p out of the 360 and PS3 via HDMI
1280x1024 on a 20" LCD monitor. Looks great to me but the monitor's native resolution is 1680x1050 so I hope the 360 will have an update to support that soon.
