I pre-order the Halo 5 theme console but both MCC and Halo 4 by 343 industries were both bad in my opinion. The best Halo multiplayer was Halo 3 and that was made by Bungie. I would feel a lot better if Halo 5 was made by Bungie instead of 343 industries which think that all FPS games should copy COD.
I watch video of Halo 5 and it too fast pace with that stupid sprinting ability. I really hope I'm wrong but what if it suck? I know it only a game but it a system seller and I think if 343 industries screw up, that developer should be close down.
I know that Destiny is made by Bungie and it suck and they are also charging for DLC but to me Halo is Bungie because Bungie in my opinion can't make any other good game but Halo. It like if Mass Effect was no longer made by Bioware, I don't really think it would be quite the same.
Here hoping to Halo 5 not sucking or else there no good game currently that is a system seller.
How do you know it will suck? Trust you're guts, get the game or not is up to you. I preorder the digital limited edition already and when the game launch, feel free to ask me about the game later on.

Mooo.... The SW forum is that way ------------------------>
@thehotsung8701a: It is 343 so if you aren't a fan of their products so far (Halo MCC and Halo 4), I would advise waiting for the Halo 5 videogame to release and read your favorite reviewers take on 343's newest product. If you have friends that took a chance on 343's take on the Halo 5 game, maybe they will have some choice words that will help in your future decision of 343's latest product.
343 has yet to impress me myself although I own every Halo released so far. I too am a little on the fence. I'm not really into brands as I am into developers. I know they have struggled to get a game 90+ on Metacritic, something 343's head boss Bonnie Ross has spoken about before, but maybe third time is a charm with their Halo 5 product.
Halo 5 will find it's way to my collection though, the question is will it be at $20, $40, or $60? I'm thinking this may be the first Halo I buy at the $40 range just in case, but I have friends and reviewers standing by.
I'm disappointed in 343's choice to remove Halo 5's splitscreen gaming, a well loved and known Halo staple, in an effort to cater to graphics and other 343 priorities. Gone will be the times of having four friends on a couch playing a single copy of the game on one Xbox. I actually did LAN parties and connected four Xbox's to play 16 players which was a blast. I will also miss playing splitscreen co op with the singleplayer with my family, friends, and lady.
I'm mostly concerned though with how Halo 4's MP community dropped off (and I spent hundreds of hours with Halo 4 online), the CODisms 343 brought to Halo, the SP of Halo 4 was okay, the buggy release of Halo MCC, and the average Halo 5 beta didn't blow me away in the gameplay dept (yes, it's just a 343 beta, but I wasn't blown away as I was with previous Halo Bungie betas).
I hope for the best though as I would love for this game to be great, but I wont turn a blind eye towards my previous Halo purchases just because a large number "5" is on the box.
thehotsung: I happen to have an older picture I took earlier this year of most of my Halo collection which includes extra copies of various Halo games as proof I do still LAN Halo games. You can see on the top row I have three copies of Halo 3, two copies of Halo Reach, etc. I understand your apprehension.
I also have multiple GeoW games for LAN as well as Halo LAN. Good times.

I'm not pre-ordering the game and I'm against pre-order but I had to pre-order the console because it won't be in stock unless you pre-order. I also don't care about LE so I'm force to pay $100 more overprice ripoff just because it Halo compare to the Forza 6 console bundle. It should be $440 not $500. So I really don't have much choice.
I am quite sure it's going to suck because Halo 4 already sucked in my opinion. Seriously, it's no big deal if a game has a good ending, and Halo 3 WAS the good ending.
I liked Halo 4 a lot . Music , design , new enemies , graphics and Story were great . I agree MP was kinda meh , but Halo 5's MP looks really great . I'm sure halo 5 will be a great game like all other Halo games . it's Xbox's Flagship after all
Halo MCC was actually pretty good when I played it, front to back (including ODST) didn't encounter bugs in the campaigns. Halo 4 didn't thrill me at the time, but in the context of playing through each Halo game it was actually a decent game. I have they'll make a respectable game. If not, well, if it did fail, that's just something I'll have to see for myself.
Where MCC itself failed was with the online matchmaking. I think there, they had a big issue running the infrastructure for the online MP for several Halo games to nail, and they didn't, and it was a big issue to fix, but I don't imagine the same difficulties with the MCC should pop up with the latest Halo game. As far as how well they handled upgrading Halo 2 with its anniversary edition, they did a much better job than 343's initial CE:A. Even the more minor upgrades in Halo 4 were a nice touch.
To be honest, I'm not that worried about it. If it "fails"... I dunno, go read a book or something, just don't go online to whine about it please.
