What if MW2 bombed?

I really liked MW1 and im super excited for MW2, but does anyone else think that it would be kind of funny to see the game flop terribly? I know that it will sell extremely well regardless of how good it is, but i just think it'd be absolutely hilarious to see this game fail.

But yeah, it would be kinda funny to see it flop. I mean, right now its hte most anticipated game out right now, to point of overature. (if thats a word)

It won't bomb because if the game turned out to be horrible, there are enough Infinity Ward fanboys to make sure it won't fail. Just look at all the "WaW sucks" threads. They just can't admit someone else made a decent CoD game. And they will NEVER admit IW didn't make the greatest game ever.

The hype is huge yes, but so is the hate, at least on Gamespot. SW is the worst offender. Modern Rehash 2 is a title flying around a lot here.

So word of advice, don't listen to anyones opinon about this game on Gamespot. There will be a ton of threads declaring it The Greatest Thing Since Oxygen/The Worst Game Ever Made.

No I find nothing amusing about this game or any other game possibly turning out bad.

It will be the same effect as Gears 2, that's all. I was first in line at midnight launch, got all the stuff, pumped up. Got home and beat the campaign, played some Multiplayer, and slapped myself for spending $70 on a piece of trash.

So, If MW2 bombs, I won't really care much, I would just be, "oh, we got another franchise sequel that fails"

C: Why would that be funny? It doesn't really matter to me if it flops because, there are already plenty of great games coming out.

If it sufferes of "Gears of War 2 syndrome" then I will just play Borderlands and wait for L4D2 and AC2. MW2 is not the only game coming out this season. :P

If it bombs... well, I won't get it. Simple as that. It's not like I have a burning devotion to CoD or anything.

hmmm... in my oppinion it has already failed I'm not looking forward to mw2 anymore, I am looking forward for AC2 now.
