what is a respectable gamerscore to have?
Is 7000 totally pathetic?

It depends...
If you see someone with 5 games and 5000 points that's respectable, if you see someone with 50 games and 25 000 points that's nothing to be wowed at. I get points by having fun, or for the challenge sometimes...it bothers me that some people will go out and rent children's games to get more points. Points, points, points! It's not how many you have it's what you had to go through to get them. BUT I'd say a respectable gamerscore is...5000 I guess. Someone with that many points likes to play their 360. Somebody with 100 000 points likes to get points.
Depends on the ratio of the game score to the number of games played.
Personally I feel that if you are able to get at least 80% of the points in at least 90% of the games you played - that's something to be respected. :)
Pshh...i have like 6 games and i only have like 2000 ish points....i call that respectable cuz like i play in moderation. LOL
100k. Anything less and you're a poser... the one in my sig is my alternate tag.Generic_Dude
Yeah, wouldn't want ppl to see your gamesave Tag lol
J/K ! :D :P
I would say a respectable score is anything above 3000. It also depends on your percent of completion. If you have a gamerscore that is 7000 but you have played 38 games, that is not repectable. My gamerscore is 12630 and I have played 13 games. I think that is pretty good.gatsbythepig
well...its ok i suppose.......:P
As has been said, you need to look at the accomplishments for individual games. Supposing one cares about the quality of points, my 780 points for Burnout: Revenge should be considered far more impressive than my 1000 points for Fight Night Round 3.blue_tape
I totally agree with that. The points I got for 2K6 are nothing compared to the points I got for GOW or Splinter Cell: DA.
Depends more on how much games you have, and what games they are. I mean, I'm not a hardcore gamer, I just play it to pass the time. I've had my 360 for around two months, I've got 6 games and I'm very close to 3,000 Gamerscore. But to be honest, if you think a large amount of Gamerscore is the only way you can get respect, you really need a social life.
Always a shame looking at someones gamerscore and seeing that they only have around 100 points in games because they don't play Single player, like a lot of Rainbow Six and Halo players.
One who includes 1000 pts from Call of Duty 2 :D. I have them, and that was really hard to obtain.
The rest i dont care, but if i see someone with 1000 pts. in COD2, i respect that gamerscore.Metalnoid
Three and Five were a lot harder than that. The allied AI was most of the problem in CoD 2, running into your grenades or never going upstairs to help clear buildings.
Hah, im on 62k, guess i have no life then :PDoesn't matter but i think the higher it is the less life you have. such as 50k +.
