What is it with this Darksiders game?

Why is it getting so much hype and buzz? I mean the game isn't coming out for like another 5-6 months and I keep seeing lots of ads and previews for it. To me, it just looks like another Devil May Cry wannabe.

im loving this game and cant wait for it, idk what it is but its got something. maybe cause i cant think of a game whare the main guy was part of the 4 horsemen. and while you may look at it like a devil may cry rip off darksiders doesnt have that dumb** air juggling combo system

and war looks like a kratos and marcus fenix had a child

Its an action adventure game with an emphasis on exploration, puzzles, and a couple of RPG elements. I think it looks pretty good (but i hate the design for the main character, hes too buff).

It looks like a pretty good game but I also don't get why there are so many ads for it. Its not due out until early next year. Its original release date was August though... maybe thats why.

i was @ gamestop the other day and there was a trailer. but i didnt really understand what was going on. something about heaven vs hell constantine rip off
