I hit my sweet spot in the game at Fort Frolic. Just give it enough time. While the gameplay doesn't offer that much that's new, the narrative is superb.
i played the demo a while back didn't care much for it then i played the actual game this summer n i loved it! good story, great fun real good stuff lol

That won't work on me! And to the TC thanks for giving me the urge to play through bioshock again. I think when I'm done I might right a review with my opinion why its one of the best games out htere.

the game actually hit my sweet spot right from the beginning. i was entranced by the 50's atmosphere and splicer wacking.
It's probably the best FPS game I had played. I had a pleasure to play it on PC, PS3 and now on Xbox 360. it never gets boring, it's fun, challenging on higher levels which makes you use your brain cells quite a bit then traditional run and gun approach.
It's fantastic atmosphere first person shooter, it has great story which is a big rarity in FPS genre, good RPG elements and honestly, I never get bored of plasmids.

An intelligently written story, a unique setting, light role-playing elements and upgradeable weapons, multiple ways to solve problems, good graphics; there's lots of things to like about it.
Its just the decor is fantastic and the atmosphere. Story is great on the most part but to be honest the story is what losses a point the first 3 quarters of the game...wow but the last levels just seem like fillers IMO. The enemies are creepy and their banter at times will linger.
