What is the best first person shooter.

The Orange Box has met with a lot of critical acclaim. The gameplay is a little retro, but I like it.

Quake was suckish? You mean Quake 4, or just like, Quake?

There's Unreal Tournament III, if you like hyper-fast paced run and gunning. There's Doom and Duke Nukem on Live Arcade. Also, Gears of War; I'm surprised no one's mentioned that yet. Finally, try FEAR. It's cheap now.

I know halo 1-3 and CoD3 and 4. are great on the 360 ,but what else is there.I know quake was ok but suckish.Thats just my opinion.Can u guyz help me find new good FPS game?ForgottenLives

that's because gears of war isn't a FPS, it's a TPS

Well aside from the Halos And Cods you should deffinatly try the Orange Box, Gears of War(although it's really low on content), Unreal Tournament III(has a terrible campaign though).

They're all good FPS's that are out right now. But if you wait a week or two you can get FarCry 2, which looks really good.

Call of Duty: World At War is coming out in about a month aswell.
