what is the best online game to buy

i was just wondering what game is the best online game. because i am about to buy a new game and i want it to be used 4 xbl so could u please tell me what game i should buy with the best online game play?

i like shooters mostly shooters or any thing that is really fun or somthin with blood n guts lol

Don't get Halo 3 if you like blood and guts. Its very family friendly, and kinda lame if you ask me.

Gears of War or Gears of War 2

I like "Team Fortress 2' Comes with the orange box, I play it for PC and its a magnificent game with class updates quarterly good banter just a fun game.UraharaKlsuke

the cod series has tons of people playing still

gears sucks

left 4 dead is good but you'll get bored quick and less people are playing each day

saints row 2 is fun with a friend

outrun arcade online is the easiest racing game to find people in--only 10 bucks

madden always has people--u can find 09 cheap--2010 comes out in august ,i think

Not sure how "family friendly" it is unless you know some grandmas out there pulling headshots but it definitely has blood in it and is still one of the best online games there is.

co-op: Left 4 Dead, crackdown

tactical shooter - rainbow six vegas (1 of 2 their both good)

arcade like fps - Halo 3, battlefield bad company

3rd person shooter: Gears of War 2

World War 2 shooters: Call of duty world at war, brothers in arms hells highway

class based shooters: shadowrun, frontline fuels of war, team fortress 2 (part of the orange box)

serious fps: cod4, ghost recon

racing: forza 2, burnout paradise

rts: halo wars

sports: just get whatever sport you like in whatever year is newest 10 games should be out fairly soon

Gears of War one and two have beautiful blood and gore. Simply beautiful.

gears of war 2

Halo 3 is the best online shooter on the 360. So many different play list. The best true skill ranking system there is. and plenty of suport from bungie.net

By best ranking system I mean if your a level 1 you play against level 1s and you rank based on wins, so as you move foward your always playing against ppl your rank.. CoD and Gears 2 you play against ppl that are way high levels then you so the true skill ranking system is pointless..

CoD4, CoD WaW, Gears 1 and Gears 2 are all good games, of yeah and Team fortress 2 is great to.

I have been playing Gears of War 2, Halo Wars, and Halo 3 for online. All have a fun campaign. Halo Wars was very big surprise to me, the multiplayer is lots of fun.
