I need a racing game where you can custmize your car, race around with friends, download cars people make in public. What racing games out there have all that?

Cant go wrong with Forza 3 with what you're talking about wanting. If you're looking for arcade racing but lots of fun you might also enjoy NFS Hot Pursuit. But Forza would be my choice.

Forza 3, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is pretty decent too.

I haven't played it for a few days since I got loads of other games (I will play a lot more soon though), but NFS: Hot Pursuit is awesome. That is advertised as a "socialising" game. But for what you want, I would say Forza 3. For some reason though, I could never really get in to Forza 3... but I loved Forza 2. Forza 3 has EVERYTHING Forza 2 has (even the tracks) and does everything a whole lot better... but for some reason, as I said, I found Forza 2 to be more fun :P.

on 360 it has to be forza 3

on wii

well i have tons on wii that are fun , but mariokart is the best followed by dodge vs challenger and ford racing offroad

on ps3 gt5

on ds-mariokart

on psp -nfs mw 510 or undercover

Forza 3 - Need For Speed Hut Pursuit is fun as well.... especially online. If you have a PS3, Gran Turismo 5 is great also.
