BANJO-TOOIE!...ahem...I mean Banjo Tooie. I'm not sure about the other games but BT is a beloved classic. If you haven't played Banjo Kazooie then I suggest you play that first.
[QUOTE="senses_fail_06"]I'd go with Dust: An Elysian Tail and Shadow Complex. Sun_Universe
This.
I'll third this. Also can't go wrong with Trine 2. Try the demos.BANJO-TOOIE!...ahem...I mean Banjo Tooie. I'm not sure about the other games but BT is a beloved classic. If you haven't played Banjo Kazooie then I suggest you play that first.

Definately a game that must be played at least once in your lifetime!
I don't own any of those games but from the demo I played I might have to get Dust since I found it to be very good.
So yeah I would recommend Dust even though I don't own it yet.
Yeah, definitely Shadow Complex.
I'd say Dust. I'm playing that and it's pretty good.
I think I wasted my money on Sine Mora because I just can't get into it. Seems well-made and all, but just not for me. Luckily I got it for 800pts instead of 1200.
THPS HD - Own this but I don't think it's worth 1200 points. To be honest, I quite regret buying it. I should have tried the trial first.
Dust - Playing this now, and so far it's been incredible. Well worth the price of admission.
Shadow Complex - Excellent, lengthy SP game
Stacking - Incredibly charming, hilarious to boot. Short but oh so sweet.
Trine 2 - Bought this for half price a while ago but haven't played it yet, so can't really comment. I've heard great things though.
From Dust - Interesting concept, I paid full price and wasn't disappointed. Pretty unique on the XBLA space.
Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet - Pretty sure this is actually only 800 points now, it received a price drop. Good but not worth more than 800 points.
What didn't you like about it? I'm really considering it...THPS HD - Own this but I don't think it's worth 1200 points. To be honest, I quite regret buying it. I should have tried the trial first balfe1990

Not sure. Many things.
The game kind of feels unfinished. It's far more clunky than I remember which leads me to believe that the gameplay just doesn't hold up nowadays.
Then there's little annoyances like the inability to link combos after landing a trick from a half-pipe etc., the fact a tiny twitch of the analog stick in the wrong direction will send you flying on your arse. and the list goes on.
There isn't a great selection of maps and the downhill ones that were probably great in the day are incredibly irritating to navigate today.
I'd say the Gamespot review was spot on (6.0). I'd recommend trying the trial first but I've heard you get exactly one minute of playtime on one map.
You want my advice; avoid it, for now at least, until it goes on sale.
