Might be useful to know what your budget is. ahem I also hear there is a seperate thread for this, but im not a mod so..

$60 New games:

I hear Fallout 3 is good

Gears of War 2

Call of Duty World At War

Older games with variable prices:

Ghost Recon 1 or 2

Rainbow Six Vegas 1 or 2

Call of Duty 4

Crackdown

theres a few to think about

The Orange Box, easily. For thirty bucks you get five great games in one. It's not my favorite shooter, but it's clearly the best deal.

I only agree if your reccomending for pc. Nobody plays TF2 on 360, it has lag issues (at least when it launched), isn't getting supported with free dlc like the pc version and tbh I have no idea how you play with such a a fast class eg. the scout on the 360. Its made for pc. I'd suggest go for something with a good campaign and online that will keep you going for months. Call of Duty 4.

halo 3 but you probably already have/hate it. but if you dont have it i would say it is very good, highly addictive, and with new content and community made maps, it will last you a very long time. that is if you have xbox live, if you dont i would say that its pretty crappy, and the worst of all 3 halo games. but if you are on a really tight budget get r6v or graw 2. both have decent campaigns and good mulitplayer that will also last a while.

I'd say COD4 because the online is brilliant, The Orange Box because its 5 games in one or Halo 3 because of the same reason I used for COD4.

The Orange Box. It's not one of my most favorite games of all-time, but it was certainly one of the best purchases I've made. I really enjoyed it. Need to get back on TF2 eventually...

best value? As in longest? Then probbably TOB, but then all popular multiplayer games last indefinately, so you could concieveably play COD or Halo for many an hour, in all honesty, you're in the wrong place. Got to metacrtic.com or something and check some reviews
