What is the best XBLA game of all time?

Worms and Marble Blast Ultra are fun.

Well, I can list a few, excluding Alien Hominid (loved that game!) since you said you had that, in order:

1) Geometry Wars

2) Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

3) Doom

castlevania and tmnt

Geometry Wars and SF2

Geo Wars cause its so damn hard and addicting 100, 000 points here

SF2 Cause i used to play that when i was 15yrs old and the gameplay is tight and love the oldskool vibe

Castlevania is definately the best...

Geometry wars is also sweet... But, make sure you can beat the demo, and do it well before you purchase it... Because that's the entire game... Except it's not timed... So if you can't even beat the demo, there is almost no point in buying the game unless you want like the one or two achievements you can unlock in that short period of time.

Worms is quite addicting aswell.. And I enjoy TMNT for a good CO OP game and such.  

Castlevania of course rates up top, along with Doom, but some other really good games that are more "arcade-like" are:

1. Heavy Weapon.

2. Geometry Wars.

3. Jetpac Refulled.

4. Astro-Pop.

1 - Castlevania:SOTN - The competition doesn't even come close. 2 - Geometry Wars - Distant second. 3 - Marble Blast Ultra - Adictive gameplay. 4 - Worms - Brings back fond memories of fighting over Scorched Earth back in the day.billyforde

I dont find myself playing any of the 6 arcade games I own very often, but when I do it's either MK3 or Heavy Weapon.

 But I can't wait for Pinball for XBLA.

I also hope someone releases an original 2D fighter that's not just a remake of an old game. That or give us Capcom vs Marvel/SNK
