The most important aspect of a game for me is graphics. I know for alot of people it isn't important but for me thats what gets my attention first. Me personally i have never played a game with great or amazing graphics that just wasn't good.

The least important aspect of a game for me is its story. I have a little over 80 games between my ps3 and 360 and out of all of them I can honestly say i only ever really paid attention to 10 or 12 of those stories and out of those I now only remember like 2 or 3 of those today.

the most important aspect to me is gameplay

... I honestly don't know what I think is the least important since it's all important in their own right.

Gameplay, story and re-playability are tops with graphics and sound being the least important. Obviously the best games are strong in all areas though.

It's tough to say because for different types of games, different things are important. For example, in most RPGs story is more important than in other games. Is the game fun/enjoyable to play? Thats the most important question.

I would have to say the fun factor, replayability, and story. I want a fun game that I can play for a long time without it getting redundent. Also, I like to play games that are SOMEWHAT realistic. The only exception would be Crackdown. Loved that game even though it was totally unrealistic... even though I wish I could jump 300 feed in the air onto a building. lol

Probably for the least important... it would be..... I have no idea. lol. Probably ratings. I'll play a game if I think its going to be fun, not if some guy in an office doesn't like it.

To be a GREAT Single Player game it has to: 1. Wow me from the get-go. - A distinct feeling of greatness that pulls me in. 2. Have Great/Fresh Graphics - Lets be honest, they DO make a difference. 3. Be immersive - To the point that I forget what time it is, or, even better, know that it's late and not care because I can't step away from it right now. To be a GREAT Multiplayer game it has to: 1. Be a game in the COD or Battlefield franchises :) I don't think there can be a Least important aspect of a game. They're all important.

The most important thing to me is story. I don't mind when it's long either.

blasphemy! you must be a young gamer, cause most people who are in their late teens+ would say there favourite game has terrible graphics by todays standards but wouldnt change it for the world. myself, starcraft and diablo 2 are winners. and it really has to be gameplay, because people play and can enjoy a game with terrible graphics yet is fun to play, but no one plays terrible games with great graphics

Depends on the sort of game I'm playing. For shooters, I want good gameplay, with artistic presentation coming second, and story a distant third. For RPGs, I want a good story and well-written characters.

Story, with gameplay at a close second. Sound would be the least important for me.

Hard for me to name just 1 main aspect when I find Story, Gameplay, & Replay Value are all extremely important. I can't narrow anything down as a least important.

Most important: fun factor (Nintendo still has some of the best games ever made imo)

Least important: I'd have to go with graphics 'cause it seems when developers obsese over them, the gameplay and fun factor always suffer

They're all important but I'd say gameplay because otherwise what's the point. As for least I'd say graphics because as any real gamer will tell you if a game is fun it doesn't matter if the graphics aren't cutting edge.

Both gameplay and graphics are important for me when it comes to shooters. As for Action/RPG type games (Mass Effect), story is very important.

Guy can you read i said I have yet to play a game with amazing graphics that was not good I did not say that a game with not so good graphics is automatically bad. You must be young cause you cant even comprehend sentences.

hahaha the irony is immense, all i was saying is that no serious gamer i know puts graphics above all else when it comes to games. really when it all comes down to it, having something nice to look at is just a bonus

Fun factor is the most important thing in a game. Story is generally the least important. For example, I don't care why I'm shooting zombies, as long as I'm shooting zombies and it's fun.

Most important is replay value. I want a game that lasts to justify the 60 bucks that I spent on it.

Least important is graphics, of course.

Most important: Graphics and controls (you can keep your delightful sprites).

Least important: Story and sound (I'm not too concerned with either).

The most important aspect in a game for me is a tie between gameplay and story. As long as the game has a great story and is easily playable is definitely what i look for in a game.

The least important aspect in a game for me is sound. Not that important for me considering I hardly ever care about the sound effects or voices of the character.

im extremly anti-trial and error, mirrors edge resulted in a broken controller, but an important aspect for me is when a game keeps things fresh and never gets repetative and GORE LOTS AND LOTS OF GORE!!!!!
