I remeber when you learned that you were the son of Andrew Ryan, therefore your name is Jack Ryan, and now I laugh whenever I think about The Hunt for Red October.

when you're in the bathysphere headed into Rapture, and the voice over is talking about the ideals/principles of Rapture and why it was founded.
Somebody might want to throw a spoiler warning on the title, espically since the first post really gives away alot of the game.
Honestly, rather the first Big Daddy fight or before you offically enter Rapture and you get to see the city through the sphere.

i dont think there needs to be a "spoiler" warning...anyone who reads the title and doesnt expect there to be spoilers mentioned is not too bright...i think its a given based on the title that there will be spoilers...oh and my favorite part is the beginning, the middle, and the end...basically what im tryin to say is that the whole game is amazing
Brutally killing the guy with your wrench, you know, the boss of Rapture.
Then the final boss which was pretty cool.
for me it has to be ownin fontaine on hardest difficuty then the little sisters stabbing him to death... little girl pwnage is awesome
Besides the twist I remember the writings on the wall and the electric shot gun. Cause that was pure win.
The opening. Seeing the first statue of Ryan, going down into the city, laughing about how easy it was to tell Atlus would betray you (most obvious thing ever, and him being Fontaine), seeing the woman talking to the stroller with a gun in it. All downhill from there but it was an excellent start, made for a great demo.

You killed him with a golf club and usually even the most hardcore Bioshock fan hated the last boss.
Putting that stage together for the one dude. You had to take four pictures to complete his display. That was messed up! and I loved it! and please get Bioshock 2 if you haven't already. I've already made it through twice. AWESOME SAUCE!
Close to the beginning of the game where a Big Daddy destroys the guys trying to take a little sister.
That would be Fort Frolic.Putting that stage together for the one dude. You had to take four pictures to complete his display. That was messed up! and I loved it! and please get Bioshock 2 if you haven't already. I've already made it through twice. AWESOME SAUCE!

[QUOTE="apathyambition"]That would be Fort Frolic. Actually one of the more memorable moments is right after you complete the display and Cohen flips out and sends splicers after you. You battle these horrific things all the while, "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" from the Nutcracker Suite is playing in the background. Somehow guns and ballet music go well together.Putting that stage together for the one dude. You had to take four pictures to complete his display. That was messed up! and I loved it! and please get Bioshock 2 if you haven't already. I've already made it through twice. AWESOME SAUCE!

i remember a part when you just see a shadow of a splicer, then the lights turn of then back on and the splicer jumps out of a cabinet, it made me jump.
i have two memorable moments one is when you meet sander cohen hes a nut job thats for sure and second is when you find out atlas was Fontaine that was just pure awesome .

I agree, when you learn Atlas is actualy Fontain is pretty cool considering the fact that you think Fontains dead up until that point.
I agree with the Andrew Ryan confrontation. Also, kind of an oddball moment but, there's a certain place pretty early on that scared the living daylights out of me. It's a dentist's office I think. Anyway, I entered the room and the screen fills with smoke. I couldn't see anything, but I heard the wheezing of Splicers and footsteps all around. Then the smoke clears. I look around hastily... Nothing. Okay, I continue. Oh, a desk. With an audio log on it, sweet. I pick it up and the smoke fills my screen again. More footsteps echo through the smoke but I thought "Screw you jerks. You fooled me once, it ain't happening again!" So as the audio diary plays I admire the painting above the desk. I wrench it to see if there's a safe hidden behind it. There isn't. I loot the desk, find some food. Okay. "Looks like I'm done here..." so I turn around and there's a Splicer like right there in my face staring at me. Man, I must've jumped a meter into the air, whacking my Wrench into his face... Heart-pounding moment. I'll never forget that.der_spudmeister
I remember the first time I did that, startled me pretty well, I don't know why but I get startled so much more with video games than anything else, I have been startled by the aliens in Metroid Prime before just to give an example.
The opening sequence and the whole 'Would you kindly' speech. I was however disappointed with the final battle because it came across too easy. I'd like a final battle where you have to figure out the trick to winning and possibly die a few times, instead I defeated him on the first try with no issue.
