I'm going to have to go with NCAA Football 2009. Madden gets all the hype, but this year's NCAA had great gameplay and more single and multi-player value due to its dynasty mode.
I feel that most of the RPG's that have come to 360 have been underrated. ActionRPG's like Fable do well on it, but the classic RPG's allways get cast aside because todays gamers don't care much for storys as they do blowing stuff up, now me i loved Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey, and i'm hoping to get Infinite Undiscovery, and The Last Remnant, when i have time to sit though them, which is the soul problem with RPG's like these, you need alot of time to play them there not like game such as Gears of War or Halo which have little story and can easily be turned off for a month or more without you forgetting what it is your doing(how can you forget what your doing in a game that's soul reason is to shoot everything), where as with RPG's the storys are the main point of them not the gameplay meaing unless you have a perfect memory you have to play them everyday untill you finish which a lot of gamers don't have the paitence to do unless they get gripped by the story about 5 mins in (which verry rarely happens in most RPG's). For you guys who don't read long texts i feel most non-action RPG's on 360 are underrated.
Eternal Sonata? Sure it's a little short and linear, but I really loved the battle system and story. Also, there's some replay value to be had since you can do more stuff after you beat it once. I love this game, and I'll always have it in my collection.
I found Silent Hill Homecoming to be super underrated. mainly because it was my intro into the story and it was an awesome intro - probably much better than when the guys who are rating homecoming first had their intro experience on some outdated pixel-stick-man graphics video game.
The other game that looks very interesting is Baja the racing game and it seems to have low scores.
as well as the 2017 game everyone else is talking about since even before i read this thread i was reviewing games and it looks like a great idea.
GRAW 2 Call of Duty 3-it was a good game, you guys just hop on bandwagons too easily Dead Rising-it might have once been popular, but no one seems to play it anymore because it's so old; yet it's still an awesome game.
I think it's weird that people are calling The Darkness underrated. I would rate that game as one of the top 5 overrated games on the console.
I'm not sure if you guys came to this forum when it was new but that is all that anybody was talking about. I think that it only got the recognition it did because it came at a time when there weren't any other big releases at the time.
