What is the technically best looking game?

"Technically," as in the game engine, not so much the art style, is there a game that can be said to be the best looking on the 360?

So far, I haven't seen a game better looking than Ace Combat 6. Maybe Mass Effect. But Mass Effect 2 will take that title next year.

Everyone has their own opinions. I think I'll really like Far Cry 2. And Instincts Predator.

Dont bash Farcry2 like that, its not for everyone thats true, but with enough info, briefed on the situation, a person can really find this game interesting, thats what i did and im playing for the 2nd time now. Yes it has some flaws, driving can get annoying but the way it plays, plus the freedom, weapons, graphics..its just awesome. Now to answer the main question, maybe Mass Effect, Farcry2 and Gears2. ill just wait for ME2 :Pgow117

but the having to shoot someone about 5 times in the face is a no no for a fps game like this

Some engines do stuff better than others, Gears and RE5 have awesome characters, but the environments aren't anything special, same with Mass Effect.

The Gamevryo Engine used by Bethesda can display some beautiful looking environments as in F3 and Oblivion.

FarCry2 's got a pretty awesome engine

but RE5 & GoW have better graphics

I would say RE5 with gears being a close second.
